hello? my thoughts. she is one of the great people in my lifetime and not just musically. i mean everybody has talked about her musically. i literally just did an interview with one of the four tops who was really close to her and she was just revered not just by the public but by musicians, revered. and people way back in the day before she became the aretha franklin everybody knows, you were in her living room for 10 minutes and heard her at the piano and that was it. so people knew even before she became as famous as she is. but the thing that i think can t be forgotten is aretha franklin was a trailblazer really in civil rights. when you think about it, back in the 60s, the a lot of black entertainers didn t have opportunities on mainstream radio, nightclubs, and there
