instigators. some law enforcement officers around the country say all this is reprehensible, and other see the videos make them sick. check it out. this one video taken from someone in harlem as to nypd officers making an arrest get pelted with water and hit with a red bucket thrown at one of their heads. this is in the middle of them handcuffing someone, as the crowd jumps and hollers with glee. in a second video shot in brooklyn, officers are seen calmly walking away from people throwing buckets of water at them as bystanders can be heard laughing, even cackling. as the videos go viral, reactions coming in from law enforcement. the police benevolent association of new york tweeting this we are approaching a point of no concern. our elected leaders refuse to allow us to take them back. as police officers, we need to draw a line in situations like this we need to take action to t ourselves and the public. while new york city s mayor bill de blasio has called incidents completely

the weekend i thought we were doing pretty well. into the weekend, the goalposts started shifting from the democrats. in the places that are no-go, just nonstarters. when we begin handcuffing law enforcement instead of handcuffing criminals that s not something we re going to support. nancy pelosi has a big test in front of her, this is probably her biggest test of this new speakership, frankly. can she navigate this process and get a funding bill to the president that he will sign? that s a big test coming up. democrats will say they want the criminals detained, but by capping the number of beds would force i.c.e. to go after the criminals, other than people they say are not deserving to be detained.
