COVID-19: Henderson, Union, Webster counties combine for 11 new cases

HENDERSON, Ky. In a relatively quiet day of reporting for the Tri-County, Henderson, Webster and Union counties combined for 11 new confirmed cases Thursday, according to the Green River District Health Department. Henderson County reported nine new cases while Webster County reported two. There were no new cases reported Thursday in Union County. Overall, there were 64 new cases in the seven-county district, with 43 in Daviess County, six in Ohio County, three in Hancock County and one in McLean County. The GRDHD also reported the COVID-related death of a Daviess County resident. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dipped slightly to 45.5 in Henderson County as of Wednesday, which held it in the red or critical level. The incidence rate for Union County and Webster County remained in the critical level at 26.8 and 74, respectively.

COVID-related death of Union County resident is county's 12th

HENDERSON, Ky. The COVID-related death of a Union County resident was reported Wednesday by the Green River District Health Department. The death was the 12th in the county and the 316th in the seven-county Green River District since the pandemic began. Henderson County recorded 15 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday as the GRDHD reported 122 new cases in the district with seven of those in Union County and three in Webster County. Daviess County had 73 new cases, along with 13 in Ohio County, eight in Hancock County and three in McLean County. The COVID-related death of an Ohio County resident was also reported on Wednesday.

Henderson County reports 46 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday

HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County recorded 46 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 as reported Friday by the Green River District Health Department. The GRDHD reported 179 new cases in its seven-county district on Friday with 12 of those in Union County and eight in Webster County. Daviess County had 83 new cases along with 19 in Ohio County, eight in Hancock County and three in McLean County. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, remained at 54.4 in Henderson County as of Thursday, which held it in the red or critical level. The incidence rate for Union County and Webster County remained in the critical level at 38.7 and 35.3, respectively.

Henderson County reports 14 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday

HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County recorded 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 as reported Wednesday by the Green River District Health Department. The GRDHD reported 153 new cases in its seven-county district on Wednesday with seven of those in Webster County and five in Union County. Daviess County had 98 new cases along with 21 in Ohio County and four each in McLean and Hancock counties. The COVID-related deaths of a Daviess County resident and a McLean County resident were also reported. Two previously reported deaths in Ohio County were reported in error. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dropped slightly to 54.4 in Henderson County as of Tuesday, which held it in the red or critical level. Union County and Webster County also dropped but remained in the critical level at 42.7 and 34.2, respectively.
