Auburn police s t report of a confrontation between a homeowner an intruder. A gun was fired by the homeowner at the intruder but no one was hit. Intruder then ran off into the woods. Auburn police with the help of state police set up a perimeter at hooksett road and route 121. Police say at one point they spotted the suspect but lost sight of him. The suspect is being described as a white male between 30 to 40 years old with gray hair and a this morning. There is still a heavy Police Presence at woodhill drive. There was a concentration between the homeowner and someone inside his house. The gunshot was fired. The intruder ran off into the woods
