So we are standing in the New Hampshire hollow. This room has been in our statehouse, in use since 1819. Our building first began being built on september 24, 1816. Our first cornerstone was laid , made out of granite. New hampshire is the granite state. By 1819 on the statehouse opened june 2, its doors. This room was just the hall.
