Drake was patron of the South Canterbury Aero Club, and a foundation member of the South Canterbury aviation Heritage Centre where he was the history advisor for 20 years. South Canterbury Aviation Heritage Centre’s Hamish Cameron, who is responsible for art and design, said Drake knew who flew what, all the pilots, and the different airlines and operations.

Police have named the person who died after a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 2 near Dannevirke last Wednesday.
He was 24-year-old Hamish Cameron of Whanganui.
Police said their thoughts were with his family and friends.
Emergency services were called to the crash near the intersection of SH2 and Otanga Rd at 5.39am on Wednesday.

The driver who died after an early morning crash near the Southern Hawke’s Bay town of Dannevirke on Wednesday was Hamish Cameron of Whanganui. Police named the 24-year-old on Monday as the person who was killed in a single-vehicle crash at the corner of State Highway 2 and Otanga Rd. The incident happened about 5.45am and partially blocked the road north of Dannevirke. Police are continuing to investigate the crash

The man who died after a crash on State Highway 2, near Dannevirke, has been named as Hamish Cameron.
Emergency services were called to the fatal crash near the intersection of SH2 and Otanga Rd at 5.39am on April 28.
The 24-year-old was from Whanganui.
A police spokeswoman said: Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
AN ANTI-GRAVITY treadmill, therapy kitchen and bouldering wall are three additions to Salisbury District Hospital’s Wessex Rehabilitation Centre, thanks to more than £100,000 of Stars Appeal funding. Donations to the hospital’s charity totalling £105,000 enabled the centre to secure the new equipment and facilities, bringing many firsts to the NHS and Salisbury. Stars Appeal says that the new anti-gravity treadmill is the only one available in a NHS rehab centre in south west England, and at the highest setting it will remove 80 per cent of a person’s body weight - the equivalent of walking on the moon. It added that the bouldering wall is the first in any NHS rehabilitation centre.
