The Halton Police Board published an open letter Thursday morning on X, formerly known as Twitter, asking the Attorney General, Hon. Doug Downey, to address the “longstanding and well-documented issues plaguing this facility,” which they say have significantly impacted the administration of justice in the region.
Asbestos, mould and structural concerns have repeatedly shuttered a courthouse in Milton, causing notable delays in the judicial process – and the Halton Police Board has had enough, calling on the attorney general to fix this “critical need.”
