A man died after he was hit by a car in Northwest Bakersfield. According to Bakersfield Police Department, officers were called the intersection of Hageman Road and Mohawk Street for a collision.
Authorities say 40-year-old Juan Barajas was found to be driving dangerously. They tried to pull him over, but he didn't stop, leading police in a short pursuit.
