Negotiators for the carmakers and the union are expected to be back at the Bargaining Table Today. For the first time ever, workers are striking at plants for General Motors, ford and stellantis at the same time. The carmakers say despite big profits in recent years, the raises being demanded would drive them out of business. President biden weighing in, saying now is the time for the companies to step up. No one wants a strike. Say it again. No one wants a strike. But i respect workers rights to use their options under the collective bargaining system. The victim is an adult the hotel and was later transported to Sentara Norfolk general for what appears to be life threatening injuries. The motive of this offense is unknown at this time. His tractor trailer careened off the side of the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel yesterday afternoon, and it remains in the water this morning. Police still have not released the drivers name.
