Democratic candidate Marsha Porter-Norton has officially won the seat for La Plata County commissioner for District 2.
La Plata County Clerk and Recorder Tiffany Parker called the election Friday morning, saying Porter-Norton beat challenger Jack Turner, who ran as an unaffiliated candidate, by a vote of 16,747 to 16,
