The Hawai i Farm to School Hui and Grow Some Good announced they are hosting a special family friendly event at the UH Maui College Kauluwehi Biocultural Garden
This production site, called Nā Māla Kaiāulu, employs specialized practices to grow nutrient-dense food that is environmentally and ecologically appropriate to Maui Nui. The project aims to nourish low-income and food-insecure local families.
During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants have pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from each special sold to Grow Some Good. The funds raised will directly support the organization’s Farm to School and Community Food Systems programs, with a goal of $10,000.
