HAMPTON, Va. Hampton police are investigating a motorcycle accident involving an SUV.
The accident happened at the intersection of Pembroke Avenue and Grimes Road shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Medics rushed the biker to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There s no word at this time on what led to the crash.
The intersection has been shut down in all directions while police investigate.
No other information is immediately available.

The motorcyclist, 35-year-old Kendrick D. Williams from Hampton, was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered life-threatening. Williams later died from his injuries at the hospital.

SR 415, Wyoming County, is closed between the intersection of SR 29 Joseph W. Hunter Hwlake Rd, Noxen, Wyoming County to the Intersection of Lakeside Dr. in Harveys Lake Borough, Luzerne County. The road is closed due to flooding.
SR 3036 is closed between the intersection of SR 93 (PA-093) Third St to the intersection of SR 239 (PA-239)-Miner St in Nescopeck due to flooding.
