D-Hall normally hosts Cheesy Thursday every week, but grilled cheese will also be served all day Monday. Thereâll also be a special deal for the sandwich at Festival food court, the home of Cheese Please.
For those who want to commemorate the day, hereâs a collection of delicious grilled cheeses one can make and places to find the sandwich around campus and Harrisonburg.
The classic
With a power combo of American cheese, bread and butter, one can easily make the classic grilled cheese â also a great vegetarian option. To top it off, a cup of savory tomato soup on the side makes the sandwich even more enjoyable. One can find this pairing on Cheesy Thursday at D-Hall and on the weekends at E-Hall. Other locations like Freshens and Steak ân Shake also offer grilled cheeses.

Keiki, and adults, will use a map with hints to find festive egg decals located on building walls on Auahi, Keawe and Cooke streets. Hoppy-go-lucky hunters can also take pics with the Easter Bunny, snap up some goodies for their pets and stop by participating shops to receive stamps on their maps that are redeemable for sweet treats at The Barn at Salt. For more of a challenge, attendees who are 18 years or older can hunt for Easter words featured on the hidden egg decals and use them to spell out an Easter passphrase, which is needed to enter a drawing for dinner at 1938 Indochine valued at $150.
