On Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 1 p.m., the Griffin School is holding a Squaxin Island Tribe Flag Ceremony at 6530 33rd Avenue NW in Olympia. The public is invited to join the celebration and witness the raising of the Squaxin Island Tribe flag.
Olympia’s Board & Brush is offering a series of four after school workshops on Wednesdays in both April and May designed for students in the Griffin School District. Students 9 years and older can sign up for one or both of the series and spend Wednesday afternoons creating projects from a variety of fun themes. Classes go from 2:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. A teacher will walk students to the nearby location at the end of the school day.
