south carolina/north carolina. it could even extend beyond that. it is a very erratic, very slow, very powerful hurricane. dana: we have fox team coverage. mike tobin in savannah, georgia, grif jenkins in jacksonville, florida. first rick, give us an update. with hurricane warnings in effect for all of the south carolina coast line, all of the north carolina coast line, ends right up to virginia. virginia, you ll see significant rain, maybe 7 to 10 inches, which will cause flooding. this is the storm though. you see the center well off shore. the bulk of the rain at this point off shore as well. we re getting some of those bands of rain across parts of florida, in toward the georgia coast line. the worst of it off shore. not gonna last that long. going to move toward the north and get closer toward south carolina and north carolina. winds right around tropical storm force right along the coast. you get around 10 to 15 miles out into the water and those winds go up to the 50 to 60 m
