Chrissie Lam and Gladys Lam on âShark Tankâ (ABC)
âWhat does the world need more of now? LOVE!â Here s presenting a heartwarming project that started in 2012 on âShark Tankâ. Chrissie Lam is all set to showcase her artisan-made designs from around the world to spread love to worldwide cultures.
Eight years ago, she left her job in corporate fashion and moved to Kenya where she stumbled upon a group of women in the Maasai tribe. âThese women made vibrant, high-quality, and gorgeous beaded items. Blown away by their craft and compassionate community, I worked with these artisans to design a bracelet emblazoned with one powerful word: LOVE,â she disclosed.

Are charities fit to make a pitch on âShark Tankâ? If you re watching Season 12 Episode 10, the answer is a clear no . Inspired by the culture and craftsmanship of each country, Love is Project pitched their handmade bracelets beaded with a dream âto create a life and career of purpose and help improve the lives of people around the worldâ.
Chrissie Lam and Gladys not only sell bracelets, but have also documented love stories from all over the world in the book âThe Greatest Love Story Ever Toldâ and are all set to launch the second edition very soon! However, the adorable founders failed to grab a deal on the show. Gladys did win the hearts of Sharks but they still couldn t figure out why they were on the show.
