A police officer POLICE fired a warning to residents after reports were made of a man trying car doors in Farnworth. Officers went to the Highfield area yesterday, Sunday, after being told a man was approaching cars and trying their handles. After a search no-one was found but people have been urged to be vigilant and to not leave items on display in their vehicles. A Greater Manchester Police Bolton South spokesman said: Farnworth officers have attended the reports of a male trying car door handles in the Highfield area. Police have conducted an area search however have unfortunately not been able to find the male.
