Pakistan’s Federal investigators have summoned at least 65 individuals including 47 people from mainstream and social media amid an investigation into what it calls a "malicious campaign against judges of the Supreme Court", essentially for expressing their opinion on social networking platforms regarding the functioning and observations made by the incumbent chief justice of Pakistan.

Argentina on Wednesday stepped up its efforts to de-dollarise its crisis-ridden economy as Buenos Aires announced that it will begin paying for Chinese imports in yuan instead of dollars.  While the move is seen in context of country's immediate need to save its dwindling dollar reserves, the Argentines have long deemed the US dollar as the one that drives their counterparts across the country "crazy", according to an Al Jazeera report published in September 2019. India discovers Rare Earth Elements critical for self-reliance in defence, aerospace

Scientists at a research institute in India's Hyderabad discovered Light Rare Earth Elements (REE) in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, about 2,000 km south of national capital New Delhi. All these elements are deemed essential components in the manufacturing of electronic devices, medical technology, clean energy, aerospace, automotive, and defence industries. The discovery was made by Hyderabad-based National Geophysical Research Institute.

Pakistan cannot get 24/7 gas supply, rich people will have to spend more: petroleum minister

Pakistan's Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik said that the government cannot provide 24x7 gas supply throughout the country, reported The News International as the issue of load-shedding has become a daily problem amid the deteriorating economic crisis. "We cannot provide gas 24 hours as our reserves have dropped," he stated, further adding the officials would ensure that the gas load-shedding ends during sehri and iftar.
