The historic city of Bath, Maine, known as “The City of Ships,” has been a thriving shipbuilding center for over 400 years. The Kennebec River’s navigable waterway, sheltered but accessible to the Atlantic Ocean, was key to creating the history of this thriving mid-coast Maine city.
