Sixteen high achieving community college students from Illinois, Arkansas and Kansas have received Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s 2023 Provost’s Scholarships, which cover tuition and mandatory fees for two years.
FCHS Special Board Meeting Fairfield Community High School District #225 will hold a Special Board Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, November 16 at 4:00 p.m. in the FCHS District Office. The board will also enter into an Executive Session. ### Court Report 33-year-old Todd W. Ray entered an admission to violation of probation in Wayne County Court. Endangered Missing Person At the request of the Lawrenceville Police Department, the Illinois State Police have activated an Endangered Missing Person Advisory. The Lawrenceville Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating Floyd E. Wheeler. Wheeler is a 33-year-old white male, standing 5 foot 10 inches, weighing 150 lbs. Floyd has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing a ball cap, army green hoodie, jeans, and work boots. He was last seen at 1726 12th St, Lawrenceville at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 21st. Mr. Wheeler has a condition that places him in danger.
