[gunfire] libyan rebels shooting it out with qaddafi forces and we re told the rebels say they won this round. claiming they have taken back a town in the western part of the country. they also apparently killed or captured some government fighters. the white house is now authorizing, get this, $25 million for the rebels but only for nonlethal aide. because, as you will remember, we have not taken sides and we are not in a war. we re learning one of the opposition military commanders may be a former guantanamo bay detainee. that s the word from the latest weak of u.s. military documents. they reportedly show the u.s. sent the detainee back to libya four years ago, even though it considered him to be a medium to high risk and that he had spent time at one of osama bin laden s training camps in afghanistan.
