MDEC partners with Facebook, Google and LinkedIn to upskill Malaysians in digital skills Details Published: 29 July 2021
In this second edition of the Let s Learn Digital programme, Malaysians can access digital marketing courses and certification offered by these companies, free-of-charge till 31 October.
The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has launched the second edition of its Let’s Learn Digital programme, a part of its #mydigitalworkforce initiative.
This programme aims to upskill Malaysians in the workforce to be equipped with in-demand digital skills for an increasingly digitally-dependent workforce, MDEC said in a press release on Wednesday (28 July).
While the first edition last year was in partnership Coursera, this year s programme will see MDEC collaborating with Facebook, Google and LinkedIn, kicking off with free-of-charge digital marketing courses and certification offered by these companies.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 7): Google Malaysia and Astro AWANI have announced a partnership to create workshops and virtual training courses to help microenterprises as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adapt and thrive in the digital space.
In a joint statement today, the companies said their Jiwa SME Google AWANI partnership will enable microenterprises and SMEs to upskill their workforce by participating in workshops and virtual training that showcase Google s digital tools, as well as foster knowledge sharing among industry leaders through Astro AWANI s programmes.
