Almost a year after Google executed the largest layoff in its history, the repercussions continue to echo within the organization, with employees expressing concerns during a recent all-hands meeting. The tech giant laid off over 12,000 employees, a decision that CEO Sundar Pichai recently defended, acknowledging its substantial impact on morale.
The CEO said that the company's immediate focus since Saturday has been employee safety and also shared an update stating that all the local staff have been contacted and will keep helping them.
