reporter: reverend, lviv is a city on edge. this is the last safe place in ukraine for the displaced to come to, and people are jittery here as the bombardment moves further west. air ride sirens go off more regularly in this city, forcing people that are already shocked and displaced to scramble for air raid shelters. at 10:00 in the evening, this place has a strict curfew. the city goes dark, people shut their curtains, turn off their lights in case the bombing was going to reach this place. and all sorts of people are pitching in, making all sorts of different efforts to help the war effort. whether it s turning a beer factory into a molotov cook tall factory, or selling hunting guns to people to protect their homes, their families, their countries. but there is a lot of fortitude and a lot of resilience here.
