Something new is coming to Toms River - what is it?
Jersey Shore Online gave the heads up that the construction being done by the Seacourt Pavilion will be an apartment complex. Take a look at what was approved, according to the article:
Approved were 128 residential units, a pool, a dog park and a tot lot. Of these, there would be 46 one-bedroom units, 76 two-bedroom, and six three-bedroom. The three-bedroom units would be made for people with lower incomes, since every town in New Jersey is required to set aside some homes in this manner.
Jersey Shore Online also notes that there is no word when the project will be completed as of yet.
Asbury Park.
At least it was #46 and lower on the list. However, I call bull.
As any local will tell you, Asbury Park has many unique areas, just like any other town.
First, there s the iconic, beautiful, and trendy boardwalk. The ocean views are breathtaking and you can feel the history of the town as each foot hits the boards.
What about the thriving stretch that is Cookman Avenue? I challenge anyone to find a strip with better dining options. What could be considered Asbury s restaurant row, Cookman is lined with every possible cuisine known to man.
Don t forget about the bougie condos and apartments that are way out of my price range.
