February 28, Glynn County police found human skeletal remains in the wooded area between Glynn Place Mall and Synovus Bank.
A Glynn County Police officer was investigating reports of dumping in the woods when he came across the remains. According to police, identification was found near the body, and the remains have been identified as male. However, since the remains are skeletal, police are waiting for DNA to confirm identity and to notify next of kin. Once the family is notified police will release the name of the deceased.
