Local tribes are celebrating Native American Heritage Month this November. They say they hope the nationally recognized month encourages education and awareness of their cultures.
The latest addition to the prestigious UNESCO list the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks, created by Indigenous people 2,000 years ago “preserves the future of our past.”
