Ohio writer Nathan Lipps will use his Glen Arbor Arts Center artist’s residency to take a deeper dive into a manuscriptin- progress, a group of poems titled Seiche. The term “seiche” refers to an atmospheric phenomenon that occurs on large bodies of water such as Lake Michigan that causes severe oscillation of the water. Lipps will talk about the water, and his work on the poems describing it, during a public presentation May 12, noon, at the GAAC, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. The presentation is free.
