Had a pretty cushy coming in now, life coming up. I didnt know a lot of people who would serve in the military and you talk about the scourge of Sexual Assault in the military you are trying to address, which i think is great. I dont know a lot about the military, so when i hear that senator Barbara Mccaskill added misery seems to have a different approach to your proposed solution, i dont really combat it with a lot of expertise. I was wondering if you could address the contrast. Being that women agree on a lot of things, but we disagree on many things, too. But claire and i agree on a lot more than we disagree. Now we are working hand in glove on the Sexual Assault a College Campus issue. I still think the way the women in the senate work is really special. Women in the senate have a quarterly dinner. Barbara mikulski when she was senator and there was finally too, she said im going to start having a caucus. The two women started having dinner and she kept the tradition up for 20 yea

Much angst over a single nominee tells you everything you need to know about why it is that we need judges now more than ever who are willing to are read the law and interpret it based on what the law says versus something else. It tells you more than anything else about the need to restore a discussion of civics in this country. To restore a discussion about federalism and separation of powers and where power is concentrated and where it shouldnt be. What the role of each branch of the federal government is and is not. Many of the comments and outbursts we had today suggest we need to return to the fundamental principals. I dont care if you are a liberal democrat or conservative republican or something in between. The principals apply to which we have sworn an oath and principals dha we would do well to restore and focus on again. If we were to return to an era of civility, we will burn on the basis of the foundational structural principals within our constitution. Over the next few d
Has just released its latest advisory on florence. Our meteorologist, jennifer gray, joins us now from the cnn Weather Center in atlanta with the latest. So talk to me about what you have just learned. Well, basically, no change from the 5 00 advisory. This is still a very powerful category 4 storm, with winds of 140 miles per hour, gusts to 165, moving to the westnorthwest at 17 miles per hour. This storm is very strong, it is very symmetrical, and it is going to cause destruction wherever this makes landfall. Its going to remain a category 4, but possibly increasing in strength by the time we get into tomorrow, remaining a category 4, then possibly weakening just a little bit, to a category 3, right as its making landfall, some time early on friday and then, with anderson, it is going to slow way down. So its not just the coast that were talking about here. Inland areas could be affected, a lot of flooding, even for days. Youre exactly right. We talk about these storms. We talk about
