Korea to scrap customs form for travelers without dutiable goods

Korea will no longer require international arrivals - both Korean and foreign nationals - to fill out customs forms starting in May if they are not carrying dutiable goods, the Korea Customs Service (KCS) said Thursday. The customs agency said the plan was initially scheduled to be implemented in July but will be brought forward by two months in line with the government s strategy to spur domestic spending.

Air traffic rises 16% last year but still below pre-pandemic levels

South Korean Plane Crashes While Intercepting North Korean Drones In Its Airspace

A South Korean KA-1 light aircraft crashed on Monday as it scrambled to intercept North Korean drones that had intruded into South Korean airspace, Seoul’s military has said.   Yonhap news agency reports that both pilots reportedly survived.   According to an official cited by Yonhap, the military detected multiple “unidentified objects,” suspected to be unmanned aerial vehicles, in the Gyeonggi-do province bordering on North Korea.
