Real Tamale United (RTU) will be playing in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season after emerging as winners of Zone One in the Ghana Division One League.
The Tamale-based club makes a return to the Ghana Premier League after beating Unity Football Club 2-0 on the final day of the Division One League today, July 25, 2021.

Ghana Division One side Young Apostles yesterday paid a familiarisation visit to Ashfoam Ghana Limited.
The visit was also to express appreciation to Ashfoam, who are their sponsors, for their immense support over the years.
Speaking at the event, Executive Chairman of the club, Mr Samuel Anim-Addo – who led the team, expressed his profound gratitude and promised to make the visit useful.
“We are here to show appreciation to our sponsors (Ashfoam) for their numerous supports over the years, going back to Baby Jet Promotions, Baby Jet Boxing bouts and Baby Jet U-16 Tournament in 2018 where they gave us cash and other products.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has condemned the assault on referees in the Ghana Division One league match last weekend.
Fans attacked and beat match officials who handled the game between Wamanafo Mighty Royals and Bofoakwa Tano FC at the Wamanafo Town Park in Zone One.
CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba strongly condemned the assault on officials in that match and called for a thorough investigation into the matter.

It is important that match officials feel fully protected and are free to apply the FIFA Laws of the Game without fear or prejudice.
