Since their last report on Friday, the Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) is reporting eight more cases in the James and Hudson Bay region. The Moose Cree First Nation report that the cases are in Moosonee.
They are also issue a potential public exposure risk for people who may have attended the GG’s Ace Hardware Store in Moosonee from Thursday, Feb. 11 to Friday. Feb. 19.

Dr. Lianne Catton, Medical Officer of Health, PHU noted that through the investigation of the new cases, “we have learned that there may have been a potential risk of exposure to the public related to the store.”
