Off form Town dropped more home points as they drew 1-1 at home to Coventry. Marcus Bent put the Blues ahead on 16 minutes but Micky Doyle equalised for the visitors just after the half hour. Town probably had the better of the second half but failed to grab the winner, sub Ian Westlake coming closest.
The Blues suffered their first defeat of the season as they travelled to QPR and lost 2-1. Kevin Gallen and Martin Rowlands netted as the home side dominated the first half, before Sam Parkin scored his first Town goal as the Blues improved after the break.
