CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ohio’s unemployment rate for November was reported Friday at 5.7% as the state gained an estimated 29,400 jobs.
This marks the lowest unemployment rate for Ohio since February. Yet the state remains more than 300,000 jobs short of the total it had one year ago.
October’s unemployment rate initially had been announced at 5.6%. It has since been revised up to 6.1%, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said Friday. Revisions of the initial reports a month later are common, based on more complete information.
