Flint Township Police Department officers were dispatched at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, to the 3100 block of Hatherly Avenue for a report of unknown trouble and gunshots. A Monday, May 10 Flint Township Police Department news release identifies Cormon Brewer as the victim in the shooting. Officers located blood and shell casings in the driveway of a residence, police said. They were soon advised that Brewer, who’d suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was dropped off at McLaren Flint hospital.
