At a Tripoli ceremony yesterday, Libya’s General Information Authority (GIA) issued the fifth National Report on Human Development of 2018, entitled “Challenges to Development in Libya”.
The report addressed the possible paths of future Libyan human development and efforts towards overcoming challenges, adopting a model of what is known as the development state, upgrading living standards, services and facilities, education systems, social welfare, health systems, social security networks, justice, equity, security and national sovereignty.
These efforts will aim at improving economic performance and improve quality both in its productive components and at the level of social and economic services for citizens, the GIA explained.
