The Victim Support Fund (VSF) Task Force on Covid-19, on Friday handed over three Solar boreholes to three selected schools spread across the three senatorial districts of Taraba State.
Also presented to the schools are four hand wash stations, 2000 pieces of reusable facemasks, five pieces of four litre hand sanitisers and 120 bottles of 500ml liquid hand wash as well as five cartons of bleach.
The three beneficiary schools in Taraba are Government Day Secondary School, Jauro Yino in Ardo-Kola Local Government, Government Secondary School Wukari and Government Commercial Secondary School, Takum.
Presenting the items at Government Secondary School Takum, Chairperson of the fund, Mrs Toyosi Akerele- Ogunsiji said the donation was aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene services in schools and communities across the state to check the spread of COVID-19.
