Lieutenant General Nadeem Anjum has replaced Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed as the director-general of Pakistan s all-powerful intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence or ISI, the ISPR confirmed Wednesday afternoon when announcing the new DG ISI. Lt-Gen Faiz Hameed has been posted as the Peshawar Corps Commander. Lt-General Muhammad Amir has been given the post of Gujranwala corps commander, while Lt-General Asim Munir is now the quartermaster general. The arrival of coronavirus vaccine from various sources is continuing to supplement the national vaccination drive across the country, as the 2.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine donated to Pakistan by the US government are flying in on Friday (today).
In a session earlier this week, chaired by National Coordinator Lt Gen Hamooduz Zaman Khan, the National Command Operations Centre (NCOC), expressed satisfaction over the availability of the coronavirus vaccine in the country.
