A340 police car crash leaves four people in hospital

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public s help to investigate how the crash happened. The crash was referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), who will decide on the mode of investigation in due course. Inspector Gavin Biggs, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this three car collision on the A340 near to Tidmarsh. “We are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of this incident and would seek help from the public to aid our enquiries. “I would ask that any motorists who were using the road at the same time, particularly anyone with dash-cam, get in contact with us if they can help in any way.

M40 collision: Man dies after Nissan and White Tesla crash

Now the force is appealing for witnesses who can help piece together what happened.  Inspector Gavin Biggs of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Bicester, said: “Tragically, as a result of this morning’s collision, a man has died at the scene. “The thoughts of all of Thames Valley Police are with his family at this very sad time. “I am appealing for anybody who was driving on the M40 between 6am and 6.15am this morning who believes that they witnessed this collision to please make contact with police. Diversions in place “I would particularly like to hear from anybody who has dash-cam footage from the moments leading upto the collision, so please can I urge drivers to check their footage and contact us if it has picked up anything that can assist this investigation.

Man dies after Nissan and White Tesla crash on M40 this morning

File picture of a man being arrested A DRIVER has been arrested after a man died on the M40 this morning.  Emergency services were called to the motorway at around 6.10am after reports of a serious crash between a beige Nissan Qashqai and White Tesla Model 3.  The road is expected to be closed until the afternoon between junctions 8A and 9 Northbound.  In an update this morning, Thames Valley Police confirmed that a 30-year-old man, from Kent, had died at the scene. His family have been told and are being supported by specially trained officers. A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is still being questioned in police custody.
