NEWPORT, RI As Rhode Island braces for a foot or more of snow in the coming days, a parking ban is in place across Newport, starting Wednesday night. The ban will be in place from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 p.m. Thursday. Any vehicles parked on the following streets 30 minutes after the ban starts will be subject to a tow. Annandale Road Bedlow Avenue Van Zandt Avenue from J.T. Connell Memorial Road East to Malbone Road.
