Marcus Stewart last night failed to emulate John Wark as a PFA Award winner when Teddy Sheringham carried off the prize. Stewart failed even to make the divisional XI with Thierry Henry and Sheringham the chosen strikers. Wark won the award in 1981, the last time a Town player was nominated.
Town top scorer Alan Lee says he will be staying with the Blues, despite speculation that he might move on over the summer. The Irishman scored the goal which effectively relegated Leeds United to League One at the weekend.
On-loan defender Gary Croft has reached the Second Division play-offs with his loan side Cardiff. Croft played the full 90 minutes as the Bluebirds beat Notts County at the weekend to confirm their place.
Town chairman David Sheepshanks announced the new ticket prices this afternoon with fans paying 50p more across the board. This means that the standard season ticket is now £329 as opposed to £319 last season.

Hot favourite for his position is Manu Thetis after he came through the reserve game on Wednesday with no ill effects despite a game marking Kevin Too Tall Francis. If he isn t considered match fit enough Matt Holland could find himself at centre-half with Jermaine Wright coming into the midfield. The other contenders are Fabian Wilnis, who recently played a reserve game in the centre, and Gary Croft who has recovered quickly from his gash. Croft, however, is likely to return to his right wing back role with Michael Clegg dropping to the bench.
