A jealous man who murdered a man after they exchanged abusive messages on Facebook about whether they were love rivals has been jailed.
Rhys Austin, 23, stabbed Danny Wise in Fleetwood at about 08:00 BST on 24 June, Lancashire Police said.
The force said they had argued online over Austin s mistaken belief the 32-year-old was interested in his partner.
Austin was sentenced at Preston Crown Court to life and ordered to serve a minimum of 23 years.
Det Ch Insp Gareth Willis said the attack by Austin, of Broadwater Avenue in Fleetwood, had been a crime driven by jealousy .

A woman has been jailed for the manslaughter of her baby daughter. At Preston Crown Court on Thursday, Caitlin Jones, 21, was sentenced to five years and eight months in prison for the manslaughter of eight-month-old Francesca Haworth. Police were called by the ambulance service around 7.30am on November 7, 2018, following reports that a baby had been found unresponsive at an address on Frederick Street, Blackpool. Officers attended with Francesca taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where she sadly later died. A Home Office post-mortem gave a cause of death as suffocation. Detectives launched an investigation into Francesca’s death and seized a number of items including Jones’ phone and iPad.

A woman has been jailed for five years and eight months after she killed her baby daughter.
Eight-month-old Francesca Haworth died in hospital after she was found unresponsive by the ambulance service at an address in Frederick Street, Blackpool, on November 7 2018.
A Home Office post-mortem examination found the cause of her death was suffocation.
Her mother, Caitlin Jones, 21, of Willowbank Avenue, Blackpool, was charged with murder in July last year but her later plea of guilty to manslaughter was accepted following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.
Detectives investigating Francesca’s death seized a number of items including Jones’s phone and iPad.
