KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Sabah has submitted a pre-signed resignation letter from Lahad Datu MP and Segama assemblyman Datuk Mohammadin Ketapi after he quit the party on Saturday (Oct 30).
Sindumin assemblyman Yusof Yacob, who quit Warisan earlier this month to become an independent representative, has denied a news report claiming that he had resigned his position as an assemblyman.
The former Warisan information chief told FMT that he is still the representative for the southwestern Sabah state constituency.
“That’s not true, I have not resigned,” he said when contacted last night.
“I remain the assemblyman for Sindumin but as an independent supporting the federal government led by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Sabah chief minister Hajiji Noor.”
Yusof, who announced his departure from Warisan on Oct 8, also denied that he had signed a resignation letter to vacate his seat
