Naxalites allegedly killed a man in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district.
The body of Rishu Punem was found on Monday morning near Pusnar village in Gangalur area, Bijapur Superintendent of Police Anjaneya Vaishnav said.

A Maoist carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head was killed on Friday in a gun battle with security forces in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.
The gunfight took place in a forest near Pusnar village with the District Reserve Guard and the 85th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force,
“There is a strong possibility of 3 to 4 other Maoists getting injured,” said Anjneya Varshney, SP, Bijapur district. Potam had a reward of Rs 1 lakh by the government on his arrest.
