Rebecca Robb, 26, is standing for the Heritage Party in Louth South ward in the Lincolnshire County Council elections in May. She spoke to reporters alongside party leader and London Mayoral candidate David Kurten at a campaign event in Louth on Wednesday, April 21. She said: “[I’m standing] because there isn’t a party currently that reflects my views and I didn’t see anyone standing for an alternative party. I want to be the person to stand up for people who do have different ideas.”

Ash Meredith, 32, opened the doors to Ashby Aromatherapy and Gifts on Steep Hill on Friday, April 16, but the business has been thriving for a while now. The company began in 2013, and has been supplying unique scents for chemists in Ireland as well as other shops across the UK, including Pennells Garden Centre.

Helen Dearnley moved from Spalding to Lincoln in 2005 to do a degree in Fine Art and Illustration and has lived in the city ever since. She has been working as a freelance illustrator since graduation and in 2009 she set up Helen Dearnley Fine Art & Illustration.

Data released on Thursday shows altogether 549,522 jabs have taken place between December 8 and April 18 a further 41,242 in the last week and a 3.3% increase on the 39,915 jabs given the week before. The latest figures show that some 431,320 Lincolnshire residents have received their first vaccine dose and 118,202 have been given their second. Of those over the age of 45, a total of 359,557 have received their first vaccination and another 101,573 have had their second.
