Wayne County Courthouse Rundown from Wednesday

In Wayne County Court Wednesday, 24-year-old Brody Roberts of Fairfield pled guilty to a counts of cruel treatment of animals, driving while suspended, and criminal damage to property. Roberts was sentenced to 18 months of probation plus court costs. 46-year-old Gabriel Arnold of Sims pled guilty and was sentenced to 2 years of probation plus court costs for unlawful possession of meth. Arnold was credited for 3 days of time served. 20-year-old Steven A. Smith admitted in court to violating is probation in court on Wednesday. Smith was charged with unlawful possession of Cannibus with intent to distrubute, Smith will serve 180 days in jail with credit for 3 days of time served. Following, he will have 2 years of probation and 30 hours of community service to perform.
