Discussion with the authors of a group memoir by four friends who are all professors at the College of New Jersey and use Toni Morrison’s novels as a springboard for intimate and revealing conversations about the problems of everyday racism and living whole in times of uncertainty. The Friends of Princeton Public Library host Ralph Nader, legendary consumer advocate, Richard Cordray, former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, in conversation with Princeton’s own Carl Mayer, on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 11 am via Zoom. Special guest Andy Shallal, founder of Busboys and Poets, will prepare select dishes from Nader’s new cookbook. These lifelong advocates for social justice will share their vision for a more just, egalitarian and united America.
