Westbrook was later shocked to learn that deputy was eric gelhouse, the same man who shot and killed andy lopez last month, believing the air soft rifle he was carrying was an assault weapon. Police he acted alone and was dropped off at the airport by an unsuspecting friend. Once in the airport he pulled an Assault Rifle from a duffel bag and began firing.
