Workington woman who has spent over 30 years helping those in need given award
Angela Good, the 2021 recipient of the Peter Scott Award for Outstanding Contribution to Charity.
A woman who has spent more than 30 years helping those in need in Workington has been recognised with an award.
Angela Good is the sixth person to receive the Peter Scott Award for Outstanding Contribution to Charity (2021) award, from the Francis C Scott Charitable Trust (FCSCT), which will be presented to her later this year.
It comes with a grant of £2,500 and Angela says it will be used to fund a residential break for young people, their families and the volunteers.
