Business lessons galore as a bike light indicator secured investment from Nick Jenkins while an unproven franchise model caused friction

This week in the Den we saw an entrepreneurial duo find a business partner in keen cyclist Nick Jenkins, while another founding pair werenât prepared to offer Peter Jones more equity for investment in their honey-infused water business.
Meanwhile, a range of childrenâs dolls was judged too âeerieâ to secure investment and an entrepreneur offering a beauty franchise opportunity failed to offer any evidence that his business model would work.

He has been presenting ITV’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? for two years after it was announced the series would go through a revamp.
In his personal life, Jeremy married Alex Hall in 1989 before divorcing months later.
He then married his manager, Frances Cain, and the couple had three children together before divorcing in 2014.
As well as his television appearances, the businessman has an interest in properties and bought a 312 acre site in 2012 for £4.25 million.
After blowing up his farmhouse in a stunt for The Grand Tour, Jeremy began restructuring it last year.

However, when The Grand Tour favourite called the telephone number also on the tag, it went straight to voicemail. Strange, he said. If you lose a dog, you tend to treat your phone in the same way a sailor who has fallen overboard treats a life raft. It s the one link you have to the happy life you knew.
Having no luck, Jeremy checked that no-one was looking for the dog in the vicinity and then took him home with him.

He recalled: The doctor was very clear. I d feel under the weather for between five and 14 days and then I d either get better or I d have to go to hospital

The star was forced to isolate at the cottage he lives in with girlfriend Lisa and her children - but was unsure how much contact he could have with them
